BAMKO LLC was established in 2007 as a limited liability corporation between James C. Battle, III and Evans Nwankwo. Based on core beliefs of honesty, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit, BAMKO is certified and recognized by the Federal Government and the State of Ohio, as an SDVOSB (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business).  

James C. Battle, III, is a service-disabled veteran who proudly served in the Vietnam War as a Memorial Activities Specialist. Due to his military service, James truly understands the love for country that others who have honorably served in the military have shown.  

Evans Nwankwo is the President/CEO of Megen Construction Company, a Minority Business Enterprise with a well established reputation as a respected and ethical construction manager. Megen is known for managing high profile projects such as the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, the Cincinnati Fountain Square Renovation and the Great American Ballpark.  

Since inception, BAMKO LLC, has participated in the construction and renovation of over $17 Million worth of projects in veteran healthcare and military support facilities in the Cincinnati, Dayton and Cleveland.  

BAMKO, LLC was certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) on July 20, 2007.

James C. (J.C.) Battle, III, is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BAMKO LLC. James is responsible for ensuring that the company’s operations result in high quality construction projects. James is the lead person for BAMKO’s project proposals, bidding process and strategic planning.

Evans N. Nwankwo, CPE, Vice President, is an Engineering graduate of Texas A & M University and is a Certified Professional Estimator. He has over 30 years’ experience in the industry with expertise in pre-construction and construction services. Evans’ specific industry experience includes education, healthcare, sports, religious and government facilities.
